One programme, adapted for Asia Pacific
Asia Pacific is not one market. Relationship building, hierarchy, negotiation style and the role of distributors vary widely between China, Japan, India, Indonesia and Australia. A sales programme designed in Europe or North America needs local adaptation to be credible with participants and their customers.
We keep the core methodology and measures consistent with your global programme. Our APAC consultants adapt case studies, role plays and coaching to each market, and run sessions in a style that fits local teams.
This is especially important where your teams sell through distributors, joint ventures or local partners. Our consultants help adapt the programme for partner sales teams as well as your own employees.
Our Asia Pacific team
Michael Adick, our VP Asia, is based between Indonesia and China and has more than 25 years of experience living and working in Asia across financial services, manufacturing, technology and automotive. He works in German, English and Mandarin.
In India, Ashok Mani brings a long background in technical sales and learning and development. In Japan, Hideyuki Yoshioka specialises in cross-cultural teams and works with global and Japanese enterprises. In Australia, Tim McDade, Harriet Mellor and Mark Thomson cover organisational change, sales enablement and prospecting, and building IT service businesses and sales channels with Australasian enterprises.
Ashok Mani has trained more than 2,000 professionals across India and overseas, designing business-led workshops for teams in B2B, retail and distribution. Mark Thomson, an Australian Defence veteran, has developed key sales channels with Australasian enterprises over a 30-year career. Together the team covers large enterprise selling, partner channels and fast-growing service businesses.
What we deliver in APAC
- Value Selling, so teams compete on business outcomes in price-sensitive markets.
- Key account management for regional and global accounts.
- Sales Leadership, building managers who coach consistently across dispersed teams.
- Digital Sales Learning and AI coaching, which suit the long distances and time zones of the region.
- Simulations that recreate realistic selling situations for safe practice.
Our financial services credentials include a programme for international trade finance specialists and their managers in an international bank, delivered in over 30 countries across Latin and North America, Europe and APAC.
All content is adapted to your products, customers and channels before delivery, and local consultants review role plays and case studies so that they reflect how deals are actually won in their market.
Coordination across time zones
One programme lead coordinates design, scheduling and reporting, so APAC delivery stays aligned with Europe and the Americas. Resident consultants handle workshops and coaching in local hours. We measure results with the LTEM model, giving regional and global leaders the same view of competence, behaviour change and commercial impact.
Remote formats, such as virtual Sales Gym sessions and AI practice with Skeells, reduce travel across the region and let participants practise at times that suit them. In-person workshops are reserved for launch events and team sessions where face-to-face contact adds most value.
