A regional sales training provider with local roots
Many international companies manage Central and Eastern Europe as one region, often from a hub in Vienna, Warsaw or Budapest. Their sales teams, however, sell in Romanian, Hungarian, Polish, Czech, Slovak, Croatian, Serbian, Ukrainian and Turkish, to customers with very different buying habits. A programme imported unchanged from head office rarely lands well.
Our approach is to agree one methodology and one set of measures with the regional leadership team, then have resident consultants deliver and coach in each country. Participants practise with local examples, and regional managers still get comparable data across markets.
CEE teams also differ in maturity. Some subsidiaries are well established; others are young, growing fast or recently acquired. A good regional programme allows for these differences without losing the common standard.
Our CEE team
Two of Gyroscope's co-founders are based in the region: Ioana Pielescu in Romania and Ferenc Makó in Hungary. They work with affiliates and training associates in Poland, Czechia and Slovakia, Croatia, Serbia, Ukraine and Turkey. Backgrounds include pharma and healthcare, banking and insurance, telecoms and IT, animal health, CRM and pipeline management, and organisational development. Andor Timár, based in Hungary, leads some of Gyroscope's largest client relationships.
When a programme also covers Austria or German-speaking teams, we work with our colleague in Austria and with the wider European team.
Our consultants have built and led businesses in the region, and several have worked as sales leaders, fractional CROs or HR and learning heads. They understand both the corporate expectations of a multinational and the realities of local sales teams. Andrzej Monastyrski, based in Poland, also lectures at SGH Warsaw School of Economics.
Programmes we run across the region
- Value Selling to protect margin where customers push hard on price. One chemicals division told us its sales teams across central Europe improved their skills through our hybrid Value Selling programme.
- Sales Leadership for first-line and regional managers, focused on coaching and consistent one-to-ones.
- Key account management for accounts that are managed regionally or globally.
- Digital Sales Learning and AI coaching, so participants in several countries follow the same journey and practise between workshops.
In financial services, we have run programmes for direct sales teams, distribution managers and agents of one of Europe's leading insurers, covering CEE alongside Italy, the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands.
Every programme is tailored to your products, customers and channels, so the same core content can serve teams selling to hospitals in Croatia and to industrial customers in Poland.
How a multi-country CEE project is managed
We start with a diagnostic or assessment to confirm priorities by country. A single programme lead handles planning, materials and reporting. Local consultants run workshops, Sales Gym sessions and coaching. Progress is measured with the LTEM model, so regional leaders can see which markets are applying new behaviours and where extra support is needed.
This structure lets you start in a few pilot countries, learn from the results and then extend the programme across the rest of the region with confidence.
